As part of the Lamentin Patron Saint Festival, held from Monday 3 to Friday 8 August 2026, we were delighted to collaborate with A.M.A. (Association Madinina Animation) to deliver a series of digital technology workshops for both children and adults.

Introducing Young People to Coding

Children and teenagers aged 9 to 15 had the opportunity to discover the fundamentals of coding through fun, interactive and engaging activities.

Our digital technology quizzes proved particularly popular, while the XLogo programming challenges encouraged participants to develop their logical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills.

Throughout the week, the young participants showed great enthusiasm and commitment. On the final day, all participants expressed an interest in continuing their learning journey and joining our year-round coding club.

Discovering Canva for Adults

We also offered a Canva introductory workshop for adults who wanted to learn how to create their own visual content for personal or professional purposes.

Participants were introduced to Canva’s main features and learned how to easily create a range of attractive visual materials, including posters, flyers, social media posts, presentations and other communication materials.

All participants were very satisfied with their first experience and expressed a strong interest in taking part in more in-depth training to further develop their skills and become more independent in creating their own visual content.

A Valuable and Promising Experience

This week of workshops brought together different audiences around a shared goal: discovering, learning about and gaining greater confidence with digital technology.

The enthusiasm shown by both young people and adults is a strong encouragement for us to continue developing these activities and to offer new training opportunities adapted to the needs and interests of our participants.
